Hey! I’m James.
I’m a 2023 graduate of Carleton’s Industrial Design program. I’m originally from Calgary, where I graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a focus in design.
I love problem-solving, especially when it involves building models and being hands-on whenever I’m given the opportunity. Since coming to Carleton I’ve become invested in the accessibility aspects of design, and how design can be used to promote sustainability.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy anything car-related and seeing what’s new in the tech industry. I’m also a huge follower of franchises such as Marvel and Star Wars. My other hobbies include games, playing guitar and model kits whether it be LEGO or Gundams!
